You may have noticed that when you write a text message in Android Phones, a message comes up saying 'Converting to MMS' (or
something like that) and instead of SMS, an MMS is sent from your mobile which is charged at a higher rate.
The reason for this problem is that by default the Maximum Character Limit in Android Phones is set to 20 Characters and beyond that the message is converted into MMS.
To Resolve this problem simply go to
Messageing > Settings > Multimedia Message Limit And set the limit to 500 something..
Also
Messageing > Settings > MMS Settings>Creation Mode> Select "Restricted"
This should solve your problem
