The most common virus problem for Windows users is the shortcut virus changing all your files and folders in pen drive to shortcuts. It's a familiar problem among most of people.
If you have anti-virus software , it will detect and delete all the shortcut files in pen drive, now the pen drive looks empty but still it has all the files and folders in it.

But how to get it back?
- Open command prompt.
- Enter this command attrib -h -r -s /s /d ?:\*.*
- Replace the '?' in the above command with the letter assigned to pen drive. Eg: D,E,F etc
- Wait for some time... It's done! All your files and folders are back.
