Difference between h+ and 3g

H+ is HSPA+ whereas 3G is HSDPA.

3G is "normal" 3G,
HSPA is enhanced 3G or "3G.5" and
 HSPA+ is even faster HSPA.

Both are UMTS 3G technologies. H+ simply means you are capable of getting faster speeds.

HSPA (3G/H): Theoretical limit of 14Mbps down, 5.76Mbps up

HSPA+ (3.5G/H+): Theoretical limit of 84Mbps down, 22Mbps up, but will support 168Mbps down.

MMS sent instead text Android

You may have noticed that when you write a text message in Android Phones, a message comes up saying 'Converting to MMS' (or something like that) and instead of SMS, an MMS is sent from your mobile which is charged at a higher rate.

The reason for this problem is that by default the Maximum Character Limit in Android Phones is set to 20 Characters and beyond that the message is converted into MMS.

To Resolve this problem simply go to

Messageing > Settings > Multimedia Message Limit And set the limit to 500 something..

Also
Messageing > Settings > MMS Settings>Creation Mode> Select "Restricted"

This should solve your problem
